Geographic Variation of Wing Veins in an Endemic Philippine Damselfly, Euphaea amphicyana (Odonata: Euphaeidae) : Phylogeographic Signals or Noises?
Why do individuals of the same species show geographical variation? To find the possible answers, I study the geographical variation of a Philippine endemic damselfly, Euphaea amphicyana. I analyze the wing veins of individuals collected from different Philippine islands. I first characterize the geographical variation of wing veins, and then identify the landmarks to be used in geometric morphometrics.
